As a service to constituents,
U.S. senators and representatives can acquire flags that have been
flown over the U.S. Capitol. With enough advance warning, citizens
can request that flags be flown on a specific date. The cotton or
nylon flags come with a certificate indicating the event
commemorated and the date it was flown. Visit your Representative's
or Senator's
home page for pricing information. Most offer a flag order form
under "constituent services."
